Everyone Has the Right to Write

For many learners, “writing time” is stressful and laborious. Why is that? We will explore why the current paradigm (thinking) regarding “writing instruction” makes the writing process so difficult for so many learners. Then we will learn theory to better understand the neuroscience of the hand/brain connection and strength-based, neuroscience-informed strategies to help learners of all ages have the tools to confidently express themselves through writing.
This workshop is suitable for educators, parents, reading, and ELL specialists. For many learners, “writing time” is stressful and laborious. Why is that? Everyone has the right to be a writer. Washington clock hours are available as well as a certificate showing the hours of continuing education you received
