About the Class
Drawing with and For Learners Louise Debreczeny, Ed.D. This workshop is suitable for both educators and parents. About: Students with visual metacognition greatly benefit both from seeing the teacher draw, and from drawing ideas themselves, but many adults are afraid to draw. Overcome this fear by learning the basics of stick figure drawing and recognizing that what we are doing with learners is not art but rather a way to represent our thinking.

This hands-on workshop will provide participants with multiple opportunities to draw a variety of ideas using strategies from Arwood’s Viconic Language Methods™. Bring pencil and paper and prepare to have fun while acquiring critical concepts for setting up successful learning opportunities for your students.
