About the Class
Most students today are visual learners, yet traditional classroom instruction often relies on auditory methods that don’t align with how they process information. In this workshop, Dr. Bonnie Robb shares key insights from her book, Make It Visual in the Classroom, and provides educators with practical strategies for creating a language-rich, visually supportive environment that meets the needs of all learners.
Through the Draw-Write-Read™ approach and INSL LLC’s neuroeducation principles, participants will explore five essential areas:
- The role of language development in learning
- How visual meaning-making impacts classroom success
- Practical ways to integrate visual strategies into instruction
- Meeting the diverse learning needs of students
- Assessing and improving visual supports in teaching
Educators will leave with actionable tools to enhance student engagement, reduce learning barriers, and create classrooms where all learners can thrive.
